Cambodia is a country located in SE Asia. Phnom Penh is it’s capital and should be the first place you visit. The history of Cambodia is dark and complex but you should take the time to learn about it. Phnom Penh can prove a somber experience when you visit the nearby killing fields and genocide museum. Siem Reap is the main draw to the country where the infamous Angkor temples can be visited. There is no doubt they are stunning and worth a minimum of 3 days to explore them. We’ve spent a total of 4 weeks in Cambodia over 2 visits and we love it.
