The Angkor Archaeological Park

The Angkor Archaeological Park is situated on more than 400 km2 of protected land. It’s home to nearly 100 temples and the remains of multiple capital cities from the Khmer Empire from the early 9th century to the 15th century. Nowadays, the park is a protected UNESCO Word Heritage Site which was removed from the endangered list in 2004.

The Small Circuit

If you are only staying in Siem Reap for a short time, we recommend that you take the “Small Circuit” tour. Here you will see the four main areas and temples in the park. You’ll see Angkor Wat, Bayon, and Ta Prohm temples. You’ll also explore the ancient city of Angkor Thom where you will see many temples including Baphuon and Phimeanakas.

The Large Circuit

Enjoy two amazing days at Angkor Wat and see all the temples of the small circuit plus a number of other temples on the second day. You will see Neak Pean which sits on top of the water, Ta Keo which is also known as the water temple, and Preah Khan.


The Third Day

If you opt for a three-day tour, we’ll get out of the town and head out towards Kulen Mountain. We’ll stop at the “Lady Temple” called Banteay Srei in Khmer where you will see a unique example of Khmer art. We’ll then go to visit and picnic at the sacred Kulen Mountain, known as Phnom Kulen in Khmer. This is a perfect spot for swimming in the river and seeing a stunning waterfall.

Countryside & Floating Village

We can also arrange for yout to visit the stunning Cambodian countryside. You can get out of the town and see the lush green paddy fields, take a walk through local villages, and see how the locals live their lives. You can also go to see one of the floating villages on the great Tonle Sap Lake which is the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia.

If you’re looking to leave Siem Reap and head to another place in Cambodia such as Battambang, Phnom Penh, Kampot or Sihanoukville, we can help you to arrange suitable transport. There are many options available including buses, shared taxis, or private taxis. It’s also possible to fly between Siem Reap, Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville.
